CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA — Chesterfield County has announced that due to inclement weather expected this weekend from the remnants of Hurricane Ian, the 2022 Community Cup scheduled to be held Saturday at River City Sportsplex has been postponed.
The event will now take place on Saturday, Oct. 29
We thank everyone for their hard work in preparation for the event and look forward to hosting the Community Cup later this fall.
The Community Cup is a regional partnership between Chesterfield and Henrico counties, the City of Richmond, and the Virginia State Police where first responders play in a soccer tournament alongside members of the multicultural community. In addition to the tournament, activities will include food trucks, entertainment, kids zone, first responders’ vehicles and informational booths.
